Christmas With The Dexters | North Louisiana Family Photographer | Courtney Winters Photography
Yes I do realize it’s over a month past Christmas, but sharing late is better than not sharing at all right?! Maybe I have been procrastinating this a juuuuust a little bit. But hey, we all do that sometimes, don’t we? No? It’s just me?! Oh, that’s cool. 😉
We started our Christmas a few days early with a Christmas play put together by the Sunday school kids at our church.. Which I didn’t happen to bring my camera to. Then we let Elaine open all her presents the night before Christmas Eve. She loved everything she got! This year was so much fun with her because she is so expressive and dramatic! The last year she really wasn’t too impressed with everything.
On Christmas Eve we went to my parents’ house after church and everyone opened presents from them. Then something pretty special happened! My little brother proposed to his girlfriend! We were all so happy and excited for them! On Christmas Day we had a big Christmas dinner with the family and opened even more presents!
About a week later, my husband’s family came in from Arizona for a week long visit! We stayed at a lake house for the weekend and exchanged presents around the fireplace! It was such a relaxing time! We played games, ate yummy food, and shared lots of laughs!
Of course I didn’t have my camera handy for every single thing that happened over our Christmas holiday, but I got a pretty good bit of it! I love looking back at the pictures once the holiday is over and remembering all the fun we had!
